Permanent Residency

A permanent resident is a citizen of another country who has been granted permanent residence upon immigrating to Canada. A permanent resident is not a Canadian citizen.

Many people relocate to Canada every year as permanent residents. They complete an application process that allow them to start a new life in Canada. Once a person is permitted to come to Canada as a permanent resident, he/she is granted a permanent residence permit and enjoys virtually the same rights as Canadian citizens except the right to vote.

The process of obtaining permanent residence in Canada can be complex and lengthy. We provide assistance and all the information you need for your Canadian Permanent residence application.
